Philadelphia is the largest city in the state of Pennsylvania, the second largest city on the East Coast of the United States, and the fifth-most-populous city in the United States. It is located in the North-eastern United States along the Delaware and Schuylkill rivers, and it is the only consolidated city-county in Pennsylvania. At Franklin Court we find the Christ Church Burial Ground, another famous landmark, where Ben Franklin and four other signers of the Declaration of Independence were laid to rest. The Congress Hall was home of the first Congress. On top of that, George Washington and John Adams were inaugurated here, and the Bill of Rights was ratified right inside. Philadelphia's most famous attraction, the Liberty Bell was rung to commemorate the hearing of the Declaration of Independence on 1776. The Bell weighs 2,000 pounds, which may not be apparent by looking at it. Philadelphia is a spectacular city to visit. It is welcoming and loaded with history and has a great mixture of old and new and of historic and modern. There are many sites, restaurants, clubs, and museums to keep you busy, along with several open space parks dotting the centre and, of course, the rivers, which add to the serenity of this vibrant city.
